While Attending Methodist church during my childhood I heard stories about Jesus but didn't know they from the bible.  Methodist form of baptism was by sprinkling and at age 12 during a confirmation class I learned I needed to be sprinkled since I wasn't as a baby.

At 13 years of age,  a good friend of mine invited me to a Revival Meeting @ a Southern Baptist  Church it was there I learned that God loved me so much he sent His own Son to die on the Cross for my sins, he was blameless  that evening I asked Christ forgive my sins and to come  into my heart.
At the time my Mom still wanted me to attend Methodist church , during my  Freshman/Sophomore year had Sunday School teacher whom  taught from the  the word of God, grew tremendous during that time.

Several years later Ken was attending same Southern Baptist Church where I became a believer, started attending with him and went forward for membership they required immersion for membership since I was only sprinkled , and my understanding at that time it was for membership.

During my adult years has I learned that baptism didn't save me, It is a picture  of Christ death burial and resurrection.

I watched many a baptism services wondering if I shouldn't   get baptized since I now know the true meaning but I wandered what others would think, and let my sin of pride  got in the way,  I have asked for the Lord to forgive my sin of pride and today  I come today as a  testimony  that I trust Jesus  Christ as  my Lord and Savior  and daily he is the Potter I am the clay.
